Why does my cost breakdown include U.S. sales tax?
Some stores in America charge a U.S. sales tax of 8.875% for New York purchases. Because we are purchasing the item on your behalf, the full product cost (including the sales tax) gets passed through to you. To minimize costs, Big Apple Buddy will always try to source your item from a U.S. store that does not charge sales tax.
