In MP3 and BWF-compliant WAV formats at up to 96kHz/24-bit resolution, so you can capture performances, practice sessions, interviews and more. Also ideal for location videography and ENG applications.
Prerecord mode
Enables quiet, continuous background recording and appends 2 seconds of captured audio to the beginning of a file to help ensure you catch important moments. Back-up recording duplicates tracks to prevent data loss.
Auto record function
Automatically begins recording when sound is detected. Auto record stop ends recording when signal volume drops. Also supports multitrack-to-stereo internal mixdown and allows independent mix playback and monitoring.
On-board effects
Include low-cut filtering, compression and limiting to help you polish your sound. Variable playback speed enables you to change speed from 50% to 150%, and variable pitch allows easy adjustment on individual tracks.
X/Y microphone capsule
Features 2 matched unidirectional microphones that enable X/Y milking for wide coverage with clear, defined center sound. The MS capsule includes 2 microphone elements that support studio and live sound use.
Interchangeable input capsules
Include shotgun (SGH-6) and dual XLR/TRS combo (EXH-6) models (not included) for versatility. Camera strap mount enables connection of a compatible DSLR camera or camcorder (requires HS-01 adapter, not included).
Memory card slot
Allows direct recording to compatible cards, including Secure Digital format up to 2GB, Secure Digital High Capacity format up to 32GB and SDXC format up to 128GB.
