Monsoon XTRM uses many of the same ingredients and technologies found in Monsoon. A carefully finessed combination of Perfect-Surface Copper+ & Long-Grain Copper Conductors, RF/ND-Tech, and ZERO-Tech but surpasses its namesake model with our best AC plugs, featuring Hanging-Silver over Red and Beryllium Coppers, for lower distortion and improved dissipation of high-frequency noise. This is Monsoon taken to the XTRM.

Perfect-Surface Copper+ and Long-Grain Copper Conductors
The astonishingly smooth and pure Perfect-Surface processed conductors minimize distortion caused by grain boundaries and surface discontinuities that exist in any metal conductor. With only superior Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) on the outside, Monsoons conductors are essentially all PSC+ with a Long-Grain Copper (LGC) core. Superior metal greatly reduces ear-fatiguing distortion for a more enjoyable listening experience.
TRUE-Concentric Conductor Geometry
While Semi-Solid Concentric conductors use fewer, larger strands that do not change position along the length of a cable, TRUE-Concentric conductors push this concept even further, spiraling each successive layer of strands in the direction opposite to the one beneath it. Because this arrangement places more contact pressure at the points of contact, rather than lines of contact, the overall strand interaction distortion is meaningfully reduced.
ZERO-Tech for Uncompressed Current Transfer
