Compatible with the new EOS R5 camera, the WFT-R10A supports IEEE 802.11ac 2X2 MIMO/ac/a/n/g/b for fast and secure connections, helping you to quickly and effortlessly transfer RAW and HDR PQ HEIF files. By using the FTP transfer, you can check the image at the same time as you are shooting – even from a faraway distance. With expanded versatility and an enhanced user interface, the WFT-R10A not only boasts incredible speed, but also streamlines wireless photography configurations, whether in the studio or on location.

High-performance Pro Workflow Support via Wired/Wireless LAN with Integrated Vertical Battery Grip
Connecting to wireless Local Area Networks (LAN) on both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, the Wireless File Transmitter WFT-R10A can communicate on the IEEE 802.11ac standard.
Vertical Battery Grip
The WFT-R10A holds two battery packs* of LP-E6NH, LP-E6N or LP-E6 battery. Batteries can be recharged using the PD-E1 power adaptor, attached to the USB Type-C terminal of the camera (The Wireless File Transmitter cannot be recharged alone.
Supports FTP, FTPS, and SFTP for Various Options of Encryption and Secure File Transfer

The Wireless File Transmitter WFT-R10A makes it ideal to take along for just about any activity due to its design. Built to withstand inclement weather, this transmitter has the same dustproof and waterproof construction used in the EOS R5 camera body.
*Each of the batteries works independently, supplying power to the camera and Wireless File Transmitter separately. If one of the batteries runs out of power, it must be replaced or recharged (the other battery cannot supply the needed power).
