Google has officially teased the Pixel 11 and confirmed the date that matters: the full announcement happens at the Made by Google event on August 12, 2026, and preorders open the same day. Almost everything else — prices, specs, colors, the Pro Fold — comes from leaks. The leaks are unusually consistent this year, which makes them useful for planning, but until August 12 they remain exactly that: expected, not confirmed. Throughout this guide we're explicit about which is which.

What's Actually Confirmed

Google's July 15 teaser and the official store pages give us a short list of facts that are not rumors:

• The name. It's the Pixel 11, and the teaser shows a gold, Pro-looking device with a familiar camera bar.
• The date. Full announcement at Made by Google in New York on August 12, 2026, at 6pm ET — with US preorders opening the same day.
• Pixel Glow. A new RGB notification light ring built around the camera bar — Google showed it in its own teaser footage. It's the first genuinely new hardware signature on the back of a Pixel in years, and Google clearly intends it as the visual hook of this generation.
• Best Buy is in at launch. Best Buy already has a live Pixel 11 signup page offering an "exclusive offer" on the new series for customers who register by August 7 — the fine print describes a one-time Google coupon code, redeemable once preorders open. The same signup runs on the US Google Store. The offer's value hasn't been disclosed.

That's the entire confirmed list. It's worth pausing on how unusual the teaser itself is: Google pre-announced the announcement a full month out and started collecting preorder signups immediately, which tells you how seriously it's treating launch-window demand this cycle. Everything below this line is leak-sourced and could shift on announcement day.

Expected Lineup and US Pricing (Rumored)

Leaked retailer listings — briefly live on Amazon before being pulled — line up with months of supply-chain reports on a four-model launch. The rumored US pricing:

Two details stand out. First, the 128GB tier is reportedly gone — base storage doubles to 256GB across the entire line, and 1TB is reserved for the Pro models. Second, that storage move makes the effective entry price $100 higher than the Pixel 10's $799 starting point. Whether you read that as a price hike or as Google forcing everyone onto the storage tier most people should buy anyway is a matter of taste; either way, don't expect a $799 Pixel 11.

For buyers outside the US, European leaks point to a €100 across-the-board increase over Pixel 10 pricing there too. But for a lot of readers the bigger question isn't the sticker — it's whether the Pixel 11 will be sold in your country at all. Expected Colors (Rumored — and Contested)

Colors are where the leaks disagree most, which is typical this far out — accessory makers and case leaks tend to converge only in the final two weeks. The current state of play:

• Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL: consistently tipped for Dune, Light Fog, Midnight Haze, and Pine — four names that have appeared across multiple independent leaks.
• Pixel 11: unsettled. Some reports list Light Sterling, Moss, Midnight Haze, and Fuchsia; others drop Light Sterling. A fuchsia-adjacent bold color for the base model would fit Google's pattern of giving the cheaper phone the louder palette.
• Pixel 11 Pro Fold: no credible color leak at all yet.

Google has named no color officially — the gold device in the teaser is the only official look we have. Expect the real list on August 12. If you care about a specific color, that's actually a practical argument for preordering early: launch-window color availability is historically the first thing to slip, and gray-market importers stock whatever they can get, not what you wanted.

Key Dates

One date on that table deserves a flag: the retail-ship date is a leak (it matches the announce-to-ship gap of recent Pixel launches), but the August 12 preorder date comes from Google itself. Plan around the 12th.

Where You'll Be Able to Buy It — and Where You Won't

Google sells Pixel phones officially in roughly 30 markets, and the Pixel 11 list should look similar (the final list lands August 12 — Google occasionally adds a market, as it did with Mexico for the Pixel 10). In the US, that means the Google Store plus retailers like Best Buy and Amazon; most of Western Europe, the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and a handful of other markets are typically covered too.

The notable gaps, if the Pixel 10 pattern holds: Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and South Africa get no official Google channel at all — no Google Store, no authorized local retail. Pixel demand in those markets is served entirely by parallel importers, which means late stock, scarcity premiums in the first weeks, and whatever configurations the importer happened to buy.

And one more wrinkle that affects even officially covered countries: the Pro Fold historically ships to far fewer markets than the rest of the line. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold reached only about two-thirds of official Pixel countries. Gray-market stock in unsupported countries typically takes two to four weeks to arrive after a launch — and early units land at or above US retail. Ordering the US model on day one means your Pixel 11 ships the moment retail units release, often before local parallel importers have any stock at all, in exactly the configuration you chose.
